Game Story
Bolton was a small city with a thriving port since ancient times. By virtue of its harbor advantages, merchants in this city made a living in the import and export business. They had been doing it for almost 100 years from generation to generation, transforming what was once small city, into a developed business hub. It used to be described as "Paradise Harbor", as all those in the city had made their fortune. However, a nationwide economic decline affected the city’s thriving industry, and business eventually faded. From then on, Bolton lost its past prosperity and glory, and was gradually forgotten. Some people blamed the relaxed, superior living environment that made them degenerate and lose the fighting spirit. All that was certain, was the thriving business hub was no more.
As the city was forgotten by the world, a young man, named Albert Williams came to the city under accidental circumstances. At the time, the city's population was less than one-fifth of its peak; life there was very difficult. However, the young man saw an opportunity, and decided to stay here to develop his career. After years of painstaking effort and operation, he finally founded his first company.
The local people found a new hope in the young man and warmed to his striving passion that had not been seen in the city for a long time. As more and more people joined his business, Albert became a famous local tycoon. He led others to re-establish this city as the prosperous city it once was and attracted other potential tycoons to invest in this city once again.
As business thrived and more and more businesses were established, the city was soon restored to its former grandeur once again. At the time, Albert was highly respected and elected as the city’s first foreign mayor. After the election, he changed the city’s name to "Liberty City".
After taking office, Albert oversaw a complete transformation of the city. He also implemented a series of preferential policies for entrepreneurs and encouraged them to use their own hands to set up a great cause of their own. Therefore, many young people came to Liberty City with a dream of starting their own business, seeing the vast opportunities on offer to those willing and able.
After many decades, Liberty City was still prosperous and growing in power day by day. Today, Liberty City has become the world's largest commercial city; the present mayor Brian is a descendant of Albert Williams, with the same business mindset. The Business Tycoon’s story begins once more…
